Hammerhead Wale Shark
This is a great kayak (boat as my wife calls it)!! Keep in mind the shear size of this vessel almost 13’ long and 37” wide and basically 130# before rigging…. That being said our first trip out in it was quite the windy day and it handled it great! Yes, I found myself a bit slower than I hoped to be but I still very much enjoyed myself. This is a very stable craft that handled the wind driven waves great. My wife tried it out and found herself in the wake of a racing jet ski while in the wind and it performed flawlessly, both broadside and nose on. Keep the size in mind when thinking of transportation, you will need helpers or a trailer in my opinion. I am a large man 6’3” 360# with not the best of sea butt (I have not tried standing on any personal craft, yet) and I never felt unstable or off balance, I wasn’t having to overwork myself either as I’ve had on some smaller craft. I can’t wait to take it back out again. Seat is very comfortable, although for me I will be getting some risers for it. The fin drive was so quiet unlike some YouTube videos on other brands. I will be getting longer paddles for it as well, the set that came with it were not quite right for me. And for the service from No Bad Days, these guys were great and I cannot thank Forest enough for his help!

Hammerhead Whale Shark Kayak
I would just like to say that No bad day kayaks made the purchase of my new Kayak a pleasure, and will be doing business with then again, as for the KAYAK it is beyond what is advertised the stability is awesome, the seat is comfy, it tracks very well for a big Kayak, I would not hesitate to buy another Hammerhead at anytime, it has lots of storage and room for gear, and is great to fish from, it is a heavy Kayak but in the wind and waves it handles them perfectly I would recommend a Hammerhead Whale Shark to someone who doesn't mind the extra weight needed for us bigger guys to fish from.
