It has a 650 lb weight limit, too, so there’s more than enough room in this kayak for camping gear. You can bring all the tools and cast iron you want.

Beaching and securing the NuCanoe Frontier 12 is also a breeze, thanks to the integral FlexGrip bow handle and a handle at the stern. It’s only 80 lbs, too, so while there might be other kayaks that are easier to port, this one’s not so bad.

For wilderness camping, it would be downright difficult to find a better option, especially in terms of handling, stability, capacity, and overall versatility.
